This coffee has been a true passion of love. We started formulating its profile back in spring of 2022 and spent this past year searching and sourcing specific green coffee to help bring our vision to reality. The Ocean State name has been around our company for years and pays homage to both our beautiful state of Rhode Island, and Ocean Coffee Roasters - our original specialty coffee shop in Newport, RI. We couldn’t be more thrilled with the result.

We roast and pack fresh daily! Orders are shipped within 48 hours of being placed. Once your package leaves our Pawtucket, RI roastery, you’ll receive a tracking number via email to follow your delivery.
Because coffee is a food product, we’re unable to accept returns. If there’s an issue with your order, please reach out to us directly and we’ll make it right.

All Downeast coffee is roasted in our Pawtucket, Rhode Island facility. Our roastmasters carefully oversee every batch to ensure peak flavor and freshness.
Yes — we offer a wide selection of USDA Organic and Fair Trade Certified coffees. All of our coffees are certified Kosher by Star-K.
Unopened bags stay fresh for about six months in a cool, dark place. Once opened, use within a week for the best flavor. We recommend storing beans in an airtight container rather than the fridge.
Yes. Whole beans hold their flavor longer because grinding increases exposure to oxygen. For maximum freshness, grind just before brewing.
No. Our coffees contain no added sugar, are naturally gluten-free, and lactose-free.
