At Downeast Coffee, a member of the Excellent Coffee Company family, we've always been committed to offering the highest quality 100% Arabica coffee we can obtain.

Downeast Specialty Coffees meet our most rigorous standards. Carrying on a 50-year tradition, we taste test (this procedure is called cupping) every lot of green coffee and accept only the lots that we believe display the unique characteristics each origin has to offer. These are the most carefully processed coffees available. Finally, we take care to hand roast each coffee, batch by batch, to coax out those wonderful flavors. Once the beans are roasted, they are packaged in state-of-the-art one-way valve bags that prevent any air from coming in contact with the beans, maximizing our ability to bring you the freshest coffee possible.
